190 Toys Collected for Santa’s Helpers

By STEPH MANTOOTH

Over 15 pounds of candy handed out for downtown trick or treat, over 190 toys collected for the Santa’s Helpers Program with the 2021 Halloween Toy exchange at Steph’s Studio.

In 16 hours of photo time, 82 groups visited us, 781 exposures taken and 170 treat bags handed out, and over 100 pumpkins picked and brought to the studio.

Pictured are the toys received from customer donations of a toy in exchange for a 4×6 photo of the customers in their Halloween costumes.

The toys were donated to the Santa’s Helpers Program in Alliance to benefit the children of Alliance. The Santa’s Helpers is a project done by the Alliance Jills Women of Today. There will not be a Christmas party with the children and Santa.

Families who have returned their postcard have an assigned number and will have a package of gifts waiting for them. There will be a wrapped gift for each child and for every member of their family, and a Santa bag will be given for each child over the age of two.

Parents can pick up the wrapped gifts from 6-7 at the Eagles on Dec. 12.
