Sharon (Retke) Green passed away in her home on April 11th, 2022, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma after a short battle with Cancer. She was 73.
Sharon was born on November 8th, 1948, in Alliance, Nebraska to her parents Fred and Louise Retke. She graduated from Kimball High School in 1966. She eventually gained her LPN and accreditation in medical records and used those degrees at the Box Butte General Hospital as an LPN and Director of Medical Records for a number of years.
Sharon married her first husband, Tom Scow Sr on November 26th, 1966, in Columbus, Nebraska. They were married for nine years and to that union three children were born. Sharon met Dr. Larry Green while working at Box Butte General Hospital and they were married in 1993 and had been married for 29 years at the time of her death.
Sharon is survived by her husband Larry; her children Tom Scow Jr (Liz), Michael Scow and Melanie Lueders (Josh); her stepchildren Chuck Green (Christie), Laura Kimrey (Blaine) and Andrew Green (Jennie); 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sisters, Mabel Benson (Allen) and Connie Harris (Dean): and her many nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and brother Dean Retke.
A graveside service is being held at the Alliance Cemetery on May 21st, 2022, at 1:00 P.M.
