The Bobcats headed to Mitchell on May 12, where they competed in the C-9 District Track and Field meet.
The Hemingford Men’s Varsity placed eighth out of nine teams with a team score of six. The Women’s Varsity placed sixth out of nine teams with a team score of 42.
Catherine Bryner and Elizabeth Mayer earned some new bling to add to their respective collections. Elizabeth Mayer had a victory in the 200 Meters with a time of 27.47a, earning a gold medal. Catherine Bryner earned three bronze medals in the 100 Meter, Pole Vault and 4×100 Relay with Elizabeth Mayer, Catherine Bryner, Brookelynn Warner and Destiny Hanson.
The following athletes qualified for the Class C State Championship: Elizabeth Mayer for the 200m and Carlye Kresl for the 3200m.
