Cattle Capital Rodeo had a youth play day on July 14, which would make it the second time the competitors came out to compete. The competition was canceled on July 7, due to the arena being under water from rain.
The competitors are split up into four different categories Lead Line, 7U, 8-12 and 13-18. The youth competed in a variety of events including the flag race, stake race, pole bending and barrel race.
“We had another great night of our youth rodeo series. So many of the kids improved from the first night and that’s really what it’s all about, and having fun while doing so. Next week July 21, will be our final event and awards will be given to the top contestants,” said Chelsie Herian the CCR Club Secretary on the event.
