Janet H. Suetsugu, 89, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Box Butte General Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
She was born on April 8, 1933 in Waimanalo, Hawaii to Masaki and Fujie Yamashita. She was united in marriage to Harvey Y. Suetsugu on August 25, 1956.
Her husband’s career with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission brought them to Alliance over 60 years ago. Janet worked for LB Murphy, the cable office and the City of Alliance as a utility clerk before retiring. She enjoyed traveling around the United States with Harvey.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Suetsugu and Bruce (Phyllis) Suetsugu all of Alliance, numerous nieces and nephews, and her sister, Eleanor Yamashita of Honolulu, HI.
