On Sunday afternoon a car struck the south side of O’Reilly Auto Parts Store, resulting in no injuries, but thousands of dollars in damage.
According to Alliance Police Department Sergeant Tim Peterson, law enforcement received the report at 2:47 p.m. He noted an elderly female was having trouble parking a Gold Buick LeSabre struck the south side of the building.
“The vehicle backed up and then struck the building a second time as observed by employees,” said Peterson.
No one reported any injuries from the incident. Peterson estimates the damage to the building between $10,000 and $20,000. No charges are pending.
