Mildred P. Kittelmann, 94, died Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Mitchell Care Center in Mitchell.
She was born November 20, 1928 in Brocksburg, Nebraska to William F. and Dorothy A. (Dunn) Schrader.
On April 27, 1953 she married Paul F. “Pete” Kittelmann in Valentine, Nebraska. Following their marriage, they lived in Alliance where they ranched and raised their family together.
Mildred was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed yard work and gardening, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sons, Randy (Julie) Kittelmann and Monte (Andra) Kittelmann, all of Alliance; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Lisa Kittelmann of Alliance; her brothers, Joe Schrader of Paige, Nebraska and Darrell (Deanna) Schrader of Rapid City, South Dakota; and her sister, Violet Brumbaugh of Newport, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Brad and Bruce Kittelmann, 5 brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel. Pastor Glenn Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Hemingford Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to a luncheon following the service at the shelter house in the Alliance City Park.
