PSWGA Opens Season in Alliance

The Panhandle Senior Women’s Golf Association opened their season on May 22nd at Skyview Golf Course in Alliance, with 28 ladies in the competition.

Taking first place, with a score of 77 gross/63.17 net, was Jane Faber, Sharon Nuss, Beth Korell and Chris Lapaseotes. In second place, the team of Terry Espinoza, Kris DeVries, Jane Holechek and Cindy Francisco carded a score of 77 gross/63.38 net. The third-place team consisted of Becky Mikel, Carole Lain, Joy Eberhardt and Norma Perkins. They recorded a score of 79 gross/65.04 net.

Flag prizes were awarded as follows: Longest Drive “A” Player – Terry Grosz, Longest Drive “B” Player – Connie Rasmussen, Longest Drive “C” Player – Deb Emrick and Longest Drive “D” Player – Norma Perkins. Gail Magers snagged the longest putt flag. Closest to the pin on the Par 3 flags were won by Sally Plover, Jane Faber and Vicki Dimas. Grace Brisby was closest in two on Hole #4, and Londa Maron was closest in three on Hole #12.
