Roger J. Brown, 61, died Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at his home.
He was born September 14, 1961 in Topeka, KS to John J. and Mary Ann (Hill) Brown.
He married Georgia M. Hernandez on June 4, 2014 in Alliance.
Roger spent the last several years in Alliance working at New Alliance Bean and Grain as well as Perrin Manufacturing. Family was most important to Roger. He loved his family more than anything and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved to fish and you could find him doing that frequently.
He is survived by his children, Jamie Brown, Stacy McHenry (Daniel), John Brown, Hollie Brakey (Mike), Christopher Brown, Crystal Brown (Kyle), Jake Hernandez (Alisha), Jesse Hernandez (Nicole) J.J. Hernandez, Caroline Hernandez, and Cristy Hernandez (Josh); and 21 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Bill Robb, Calvin Brown (Angie), David Robb (Sue), and Daniel Brown (Kristy); his sister, Regina Golay; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Georgia, his brother Ted.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Indian Mission-Church of God. Interment will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
