Wouldn’t it be nice to forget a past incidence where someone might have hurt you like an older man like myself can forget to pick up something at the store or an appointment?
The Bible says, “We need to forgive not seven times but seven times seventy.” In other words keep forgiving and do not keep track.
It is hard to forgive. it even needs divine help. When we forgive it helps us also to know we are forgiven from our numerous, numerous sins.
I think God has to forgive me 7 times 70 every day. It is not easy living with our sinful inheritance but it is far far harder in the long run to live without God. God does love you, sin and all, and you are truly truly blessed when you forgive no matter how hard it hurts.
