PSWGA Competes in Scottsbluff

The Panhandle Senior Women competed at Scotts Bluff Country Club on August 21st with 33 golfers enduring the hot, summer day.

Placing first was the team of Becky Mikel, Vicky Dimas, Joy Eberhardt and Kay Heggem, with a net score of 56.

Placing second, was the team of Terry Espinoza, Tami Pierce, Patty Schaneman and Carole Derr with a net score of 65.1.

Close behind, with a net score of 65.3, was the third-place team of Londa Maron, Betty Landercasper, and Beth Korell.

The longest drive flag prizes were won by Becky Mikel (A), Tami Pierce (B), Terry Rajewich (C) and Carole Derr (D). Chris Lapaseotes had the longest putt on hole #13. Closest to the pins on the par 3’s were won by Kay Heggem and Terry Espinoza.

Our next event will be Monday, September 11, at Chimney Rock Golf Course in Bayard. Lady golfers, at least 50 years of age with an active GHIN handicap, are welcome to join and play.
