Terrytown Woman Arrested Following Accident

On Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at approximately 7:20 p.m., the Scottsbluff Police Department was dispatched to 2002 Avenue I (Short Stop) in reference to an injury accident.

Upon arrival officers observed a 2005 green Ford Freestyle parked on a gas pump and a 1992 green Honda Goldwing laying on its side with a male lying next to it. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that the Ford Freestyle, driven by Renee Mueller Fieck, age 62 of Terrytown, was backing from a parking stall when she began backing the vehicle in a circle.

Renee continued backing in a circle striking a pedestrian who was standing next to the Honda Goldwing. After striking the pedestrian and the motorcycle, Renee continued backing when the Ford Freestyle eventually came to rest on top of a gas pump.

The pedestrian was identified as Brent Kreiling, age 49 of Terrytown. Brent was transported to Regional West Medical Center by Valley Ambulance for treatment of his injuries. Renee was subsequently arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, Disorderly Conduct, and No Operators License. The Scottsbluff Police Department was assisted by The Scottsbluff Fire Department, Valley Ambulance, and the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office.
