Contestant and Little Sister applications are now available for the 2024 Miss Alliance and Miss Alliance’s Teen Pageant to be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 6 P.M. at the Alliance High School PAC. The Miss Alliance pageant is an official local pageant under the Miss America and Miss America’s Teen competition. It is designed to promote scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living, and community involvement for America’s young women.
The Teen pageant is open to all female Nebraska residents who were born between 2006-2010. The Miss pageant is open to all female Nebraska residents who were born between 1996 -2006. Young ladies born in 2006 have the option of competing in either the Miss or the Teen competition.
The contestants are judged on personal interview, talent, evening gown, on-stage question, and health and fitness. There will also be a separate overall community service competition, audience choice award, and Miss Congeniality voting that do not count in the overall scoring. A silent auction will also take place during the competition. Along with scholarships, crowns and prizes, the winners of the pageant will compete for the title of Miss Nebraska and Miss Nebraska’s Teen in June, 2024.
Emcees for the evening will be Scottsbluff native Morgan Baird, Miss Nebraska 2023 and Boston Pettera, Miss Nebraska’s Outstanding Teen 2023. Pettera, who was crowned Miss Alliance’s Teen 2023 last November in Alliance, will return to the Miss Alliance stage to crown our 2024 titleholders.
The pageant is also seeking area girls ages kindergarten through 5th grade to participate in our Little Sister program. Little sisters will be paired with the contestants for the competition and will perform during the pageant and escort their contestant during evening gown competition.
