August is here and while sometimes July is the hotter month of the two, August can be just as hot, if not hotter some years. We will certainly start the month off hot with above average temperatures. Lots of middle and upper 90s for highs are expected for the next several days. Storms will struggle to get going with all of the heat in place, but a couple of rain chances will push in Friday and Saturday.
