∙ This week we finalized the process of eliminating the print release station for our patrons. We have now streamlined the printing process to simply selecting print and then picking up your items from the circulation desk. Before our patrons had to go through many steps that could be confusing for users. I am especially proud of the hard work Technical Services Librarian Emily Nelson put into getting this done for our patrons who have complimented her efforts in making their experience far less complicated!
∙ Adult Services Librarian Nalani Stewart cataloged new materials, prepared books for the Blind Date with a Book Contest and scheduled new programs and book clubs. She also hosted the True Crime Book Club, the book club at Highland Park Care Center and worked on continuing education credits for certification through the Nebraska Library Commission.
∙ Technical Services Librarian Emily Nelson updated the Staff Picks page on the website as well as the Bookworm feature. I helped to finish the public printer reconfiguration to simplify the printing process for patrons. I also made weekly Bookmobile deliveries, assisted patrons, and processed ILLs.
