The final event for Catholic Schools Week at the Alliance St. Agnes Academy took place Sunday with the playing of the 31st annual elementary basketball tournament. Twenty four boys and girls in grades
1-2-3 participated in the five team tourney. Placing first and going 6 and 0 for the day were the Blue Tigers. The Red Huskers were the runners up.
A round robin format was used early in the day with all teams playing 4 games each. The tournament then started with 4 more games using single elimination. St. Agnes teacher and coach Mark Glesinger put on the tournament which is a culmination of a 3 week basketball camp.
