The Box Butte County Board of Commissioners invite the submission of bids to purchase one or more of the following described real estate owned by Box Butte County, Nebraska:
A tract of land located at the East 66 feet of Lot 8, Block 26, Original Town, which tract of land is located in the City of Alliance, Box Butte County, Nebraska, according to the recorded plat thereof,
Lot 6, Block 5, First Addition of South Alliance, an addition, to the City of Alliance, Box Butte County, Nebraska, according to the recorded plat thereof,
A tract of land more particularly described as: Lot 2, Block 2, Third Addition to the Homestead Addition of the City of Alliance, Box Butte County, Nebraska, according to the recorded plat thereof,
Lot 7, Block 6, First Addition to H.E.R.B. Addition to the City of Alliance, Box Butte County, Nebraska, according to the recorded plat thereof,
Lot 8, Block 6, First Addition to H.E.R.B. Addition to the City of Alliance, Box Butte County, Nebraska, according to the recorded plat thereof.
Bids must be submitted by 11:30 a.m. on the 28th day of March 2025. Bids must be submitted to the Box Butte County Clerk’s office: 515 Box Butte Ave, Ste 203, Alliance, NE 69301 or by mail: Box Butte County Clerk, PO Box 678, Alliance, NE 69301. Bidders are solely responsible for timely delivery.
Bids will be opened and read at 9:30 a.m. on the 2nd day of April 2025, in the Commissioner’s Meeting room in the Box Butte County Courthouse. The bidder shall provide an earnest money deposition payable to Box Butte County of 15% of the submitted bid, with the balance of the bid due by cashier’s check upon delivery of the deed to the successful bidder.
The bid shall set forth the price and other terms of purchase in the manner bidder deems appropriate. A separate bid shall be submitted for each tract. No bid on more than one tract will be accepted. All purchases are “as is,” where is,” without warranty of any kind, and subject to outstanding real estate taxes, existing easements and building restrictions. Bidder acquires the property subject to existing zoning and other regulations.
It is the responsibility of bidders to determine if there are requirements, limitations, or special conditions which affect the real estate upon which the bid is submitted.
With respect to the bidding process and bids submitted, the Box Butte County Board of Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids and the right to waive any irregularity, informality or technicality to the extent allowed by law, which may occur.
