• Received Senator Fischer’s appropriations request forms for FY2026. We have been advised that Senator Fischer will be prioritizing her FY25 requests that were previously advanced out of the Appropriations Committee, of which our airport was one. We have a short time frame to re-submit our new request and it is a priority. Our electrical project will still be our focus but we have applied for grant funds on the runway light portion of this grant so our request will be narrowed to all taxiway lights, removal of old taxiway shoulders, guidance signs, and the new MALSR system.

• Finally received our depredation permit from U.S. Fish and Wildlife services, so an update to our Airport Certification Manual was submitted and approved by the FAA.

• Received notification from FAA on our annual inspection. Documents must be submitted by May 5th and on-site inspection will begin Monday, May 12th.

• Preparation work continues for the FAA inspection by all airport staff.

• Prescribed burn is scheduled for April 12th, weather permitting. All notifications and press release has been completed.

• Filling of prairie dog holes on all airport property is a priority of staff. This is a huge project and will require many hours but essential so we can monitor where we still have work to do on active holes
