A three touchdown effort from quarterback Jacob Bryner along with a 2 score performance by running Zaine Feist led Hemingford to a 68 to 0 win over Kimball on Friday. With the victory, the Cats improved to 4 and 0 for the year while Kimball drops to 2 and 2. The visitors scored early and often in getting their 4 straight win. Hemingford scored on special teams and on defense and held the hosts to just over 100 yards of total offense.
Kimball kicked off to start the contest. It was returned 65 yards for a touchdown by Bobcat Jayce Haas. Later in the opener, the Cats extend their margin of 18 points with Tayten Haas scoring on a 9 yard fumble return. Quarter #2 had the guests increased their advantage on a fumble recovery by Josh Miller that set another score. Bryner hit Jayce Haas with a 27 yard TD strike. Up 60 to 0 in the third period, Hemingford’s final points came on a 42 yard TD scamper by Lucas Sulzbach. Final stats had the Cats ending with 311 yards of total offense 36 passing and 275 rushing Feist closed with 14 carries 100 yards and 2 scores Bryner had 3 TD passing
Hemingford will host Morrill on Friday.
