Local Students Named to President’s List at Chadron State College
Chadron State College has announced the names of students who qualified for the President’s List for the Fall 2025 semester. To be eligible, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of coursework, be pursuing their first bachelor’s degree, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 4.0, and have no incomplete grades.
The students recognized on the CSC President’s List, by hometown and state provided by the student:
Alliance: Olivia Behrends, Sonya Behrends, Lizbeth Carrillo, Krish Chaudhari, Maycee Garcia, Keegan Grant, Maggie Jenkins, Jonah Matulka, Kaytlin Norris, Miah Peters- Marsteller, Taylee Thompson, Isaac Weems.
Hemingford: Yohan Bae, Danea Hanson.

Chadron State College has announced the names of students who qualified for the Dean’s List for the Fall 2025 semester. To be eligible, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of coursework, be pursuing their first bachelor’s degree, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, and have no incomplete grades.
The students recognized on the CSC Dean’s List by hometown and state provided by the student:
Alliance: Kristen Baayen, Jackson Bailey, Jaelynne Clarke, Jennifer Foults, Nikki Haller, Bayleigh McCracken, Nolan Nagaki, Carlie Schneider.
Hemingford: Boady Hunter, Casey Miller.
Burke to Graduate from University Honors Program at Nebraska
Shelbee Burke of Alliance is among 15 University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduating seniors who have completed the requirements to graduate from the University Honors Program in December. Burke will graduate from the College of Education and Human Sciences with University Honors.
To earn University Honors, students must maintain at least a 3.5 grade-point average and fulfill specific curricular requirements. To earn High University Honors, students must fulfill curricular requirements, complete an Honors senior project and earn a 3.5-3.749 cumulative GPA. To earn Highest University Honors, students must fulfill curricular requirements, complete an Honors senior project and earn a 3.75 or higher cumulative GPA.
“These students have achieved outstanding levels of success in their undergraduate careers,” said Tyler White, faculty director of the Honors Program. “We are excited to see what the future holds for each of them as they begin their next endeavors.”
