The contest was played in Sidney on Monday. Junior Paz Cody was the leading scorer for AHS with 11 points which included three 3 pointers. Varsity action began with 6 in a row by the Raiders. A trey by Cody stopped the spurt but 3 more tallies by the hosts made it 9 to 3 with one minute left in the period. The quarter came to a finish with a deuce by Cody and the Lady Bulldogs down 9 to 5.

Freshman Reese Armstrong got Alliance off to a good start in the second with a hoop that closed the Dog deficit to 2. This is where the wheels came off for the guests. Down 29 to 7, a three ball by Brinlee Lanik ended the Alliance drought. The rest of the period had the hosts canning 3 threes to increase their cushion.
