A pair of Alliance girl’s wrestlers came home with gold medals on Saturday in their meet in Gering. At 170, Charlize Dorenbach ended the day in first, going 4 and 0. Bulldog Aiva Raymer at 135 also went undefeated in taking first. Alliance ended the day with 93 points which was good for fifth in the team race. Gering was the winner with 193.5 points while North Platte was the runner up with 162.5 tallies. Sixteen schools took part. They were: Gering, North Platte, Lingle-Fort Laramie,/Southwest, Scottsbluff, Alliance, Gordon/Rushville, Upton, Bridgeport, Kimball, Hemingford, Laramie, South, Mitchell, Niobrara County, Bayard, and Hay Springs. Alliance also had 2 other placers in Alexis Solis at 105 who was second and at 115 Braylin Gibson who took fifth.
