Six schools competed at the McCook duals on Friday. Alliance ended the day going 1 and 4. The Dogs defeated Wray, Colorado and lost to Gothenburg, Amherst, North Platte, and McCook. AHS downed Wray 37 to 35. Amherst got by the Dogs 52 to 26. Gothenburg beat Alliance 44 to 30. In the match up against the hosts , it was McCook winning 50 to 23. North Platte then defeated the Dogs 53 to 20.
Going undefeated for the day were Coy Childers at 132 and Trini Trejo at 138. Both wrestlers finished 5 and 0. Winning 4 out of 5 matchers were Jett Childers at 126 and Wyatt Stabnow at 120.
