Legacy Coop has announced that, effective Feb. 3, Charlie Wright is no longer serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization. Former Scottsbluff resident E. Tod Clark has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Clark brings deep leadership experience to this role, having previously served as CEO of Farmers Coop Elevator in Hemingford from 2006 to 2013, and All Points Cooperative in Gothenburg, Nebraska from 2013 until his retirement in 2022. Clark brings experienced, steady leadership while working closely with the board and leadership team to ensure continuity for the Coop’s employees and business priorities.
“I am a strong believer in the cooperative business model,” said Clark. “Grass roots governance and the customer ownership model are true advantages if given the chance to succeed. Our members are at the heart of every decision we make as we work together to position Legacy Coop for long-term stability and growth.”
Originally from St. Edward, Nebraska, Clark grew up on a diversified family farm operation and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with degrees in Animal Science and Ag Economics. His wife, Teresa (Hilderman) was born and raised in Scottsbluff, and their children, Drew and Carolyn, graduated from Scottsbluff High School. During his years living in Scottsbluff, Clark served on the Scottsbluff Public Schools Board of Education and the Farm and Ranch Museum board of directors.
