For the second year in a row, Bulldog Coy Childers claimed the title of State Wrestling Champion over the weekend at State Wrestling in Omaha.
Childers wrestled in the Class B 132 pound class. The sophomore was one of five wrestlers from Alliance who traveled to Omaha to compete at the state tournament. In the championship match, Childers faced off against Brody Schmidt of Ralston, claiming a 10-6 victory.
