The Alliance Times-Herald has selected Kristy Brown to be the recipient of funds raised from the 2025 Giving Hope section, issuing her a check for $270 to be used to assist with the costs associated with battling cancer.
Brown was chosen at random from the nominations submitted by the community following the publication of the section in October 2025. The check was presented to Brown in January.
“We are grateful to have the chance to help out with the help of our fantastic advertisers,” said Shaun Friedrichsen, Publisher of the Alliance Times-Herald. “Giving Hope is a section that is meant to do just that: Give Hope to those who are fighting the toughest battle against cancer. We could not do this without the support of our advertisers and our wonderful community. We are looking forward to continuing this tradition next year.”
