Silvers by Kirchner and Johnson Lead Crusaders at Gering Invite

Track action on Thursday ended the season for the Alliance St. Agnes boy’s squads. Bearcat stadium in Scottsbluff hosted the 11 team event. Due to track issues, the Gering Invite was held in the Bluffs. SA tallied 36 points in the seventh grade division which was good for fifth overall. On the 8th grade side, the Academy scored 13 points and finished 8th overall. Scottsbluff was the team winner in the 7th grade race with 174 points. The Bearcat also were first for the 8th grade team trophy. Top scorers for the Crusaders were 7th graders Declan Kirchner and Tee Johnson who both claimed silver medals. Kirchner was second in the 400 while Johnson ended as the runner up in the pole vault.
