Nine hits powered the Alliance Aces past the Peltz Co Blue Sox 13 to 8 in the second game of a doubleheader played in Alliance on Wednesday. Earlier in the evening, it was the Sox capturing game one 10 to 5. Pitching for the Sox were Bodee Barber and Marshall Moseman. Taking the mound for the Aces were Isaiah, Braven, and Joseph. Sorry last names for the Aces were unavailabe. The Blue Sox collected 4 hits for the game. Barber and Moseman had one each along with Zeke Dean and Levi Escamilla. Top hitters for the Aces were Andre, Isaiah, and King who had 2 knocks apiece. Ending with one hit each were: Vincent, Ben, and Joseph.
Early on it was the Peltz Co taking the momentum. The Sox plated four runs in the top of the first to surge ahead. Hits by Dean, Barber, Moseman, and Escamilla helped the Sox go up 4 to 0. Aces though were up for the challenge, scoring seven in the hone half. Big singles by Isaiah and Andre set the table for King, whose hit tied the game at 4. A couple of wild pitches and an error by the Blue Sox had the board read 7 to 4 after one frame of action.
Using a walk and a miscue by the Aces, the Peltz Co sliced their deficit to 2 at 7 to 5 after the top of the second. Six more hits by the Aces in the home half made a Sox comeback difficult. Getting knocks in the bottom of the second were: Isaiah, Andre, Joseph, King, Ben, and Vincent. Heading to the third, the Aces were out in front 13 to 5. The Blue Sox did turn a double play to end the inning. Two runs scored by Moseman and Canton Devlin in the top of inning three closed the gap to 5 but the Sox would get no closer. Final Aces 13 Sox 8
