With 75 points, the Alliance girl’s track team placed second on Friday at the BCD meet in Bayard. AHS used a pair of gold medal efforts in the 400 and mile relays to collect the runner up trophy. Mitchell was first with 131.25 points while Bridgeport ended third with 72.5. The Lady Dogs took first in the 4 X 1 with a time of 50.6. Team members were: Kaelyn Mazanec, Brooke Bailey, Lexi Lopez, and Danielle Cole. The same foursome then won the mile relay with a time of 4:18. Alliance also got first place efforts in the unified category from Brinlee Lanik and Sophia Lundy.
