Jacob J. Veach, aged 47, passed away on August 4, 2026, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Born on July 1, 1979, Jacob dedicated two decades of his professional life to Schworer Volkswagen, where he began as a salesman and ascended to the role of sales manager.
Jacob was not only a committed professional but also a cherished father and grandfather. He is survived by his son, Landon, and grandson, Micco Traux; his mother, Carol, and Terry Wignall of Loveland, CO; his father, Scott, and Melanee Veach of Harrisburg, SD; as well as Darcy and Dustin Jackson and Mathew and Sallie Burton and his brother from another mother, Josh Pickstick, and lifelong friend, Titus Cline. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vern and Martha Wahe, Helen and Trueman Houge; brothers, Aaron and Joshua Veach; and his favorite aunt, Gwen Barker.
An avid golfer, Jacob spent most of his days on the golf course, either playing or marshalling, where he enjoyed meeting new people.
A memorial service for Jacob will be held at a later date in Illinois. He will be remembered for his warm presence, both on and off the golf course, and his enduring impact on his family and community.
