Congregation members of St. John’s Lutheran Church celebrated God’s Work Our Hands Sunday on September 13. The day is observed church-wide to celebrate and serve our communities. St. John’s members cleaned the old German Lutheran Church at Dobby’s Frontier town; paint the posts on the picnic cover at Carhenge; trash pick-up at Laing Lake; and filling Head Start Backpacks for 40 students per week. They also prepared the preschool area for the upcoming school year, cleaned the church grounds and signed thinking of you and encouragement cards for elder and shut-in members.
