Wilma J. Red Nest, 64, died Monday, December 14, 2020 at her home.
She was born March 7, 1956 in Alliance, Nebraska to Isaac J. and Christine (Black Bear) White Crane.
In past years, Wilma worked at the Woolrich Factory in Alliance and worked for over ten years at Marian Residence as a nursing assistant. Wilma was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her home was always open to everyone.
She is survived by her children, Christine (Norman) Little Hoop of Alliance, Angela (Tyson) Lewis of Alliance, Wenona Red Nest of Sioux Falls, SD, Fred John Red Nest of Alliance, Edison (Courtney) Red Nest III of Alliance, Carl Red Nest of Alliance, Adam (Lillian) Red Nest of Alliance, Evelyn (Brandon) Picket Pin of Alliance, Leona Red Nest of Alliance, Joseph (Jolene) Red Nest of Alliance, William (Stepheny) Red Nest, Sr. of Alliance, Jalen Red Nest of Alliance, Donald Red Nest of Alliance, Doja Red Nest of Alliance, Emmalee Red Nest of Alliance and Luvaya Poor Bear of Alliance; her son-in-law, Carlos Reza of Alliance; 42 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Evelyn (Ronald) Brave Hawk of Alliance. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Amy, her granddaughters Emma and Falicia Reza, her great granddaughter Hazel Little Hoop Catches, and her brother, Darrell White Crane.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Indian-Mission Church of God. Brother Don Mink will officiate. Wake services will begin Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the church and continue until service time Saturday.
