One of my favorite projects I am going to tell you about today is when I attended the Nebraska Youth Leadership Beef Symposium or (NYBLS).
It is held in Lincoln on the UNL East Campus. The first day we attended lectures that are from a nutritionist, beef producers or animal science professors.
On the second day (Saturday) we joined group members for a fun project that we would present on Sunday. This project consisted of making an entree that contained beef, ours was a wrap with sliced beef, vegetables and cheese wrapped up in a spinach wrap.
Included in our presentation of our entree was an informational board. It had the name of our wrap which was the Lincoln Round Wrap, ingredients of our entree, nutritional value, and benefits and costs.
We did a team bonding project which was bowling and we were blessed to have our parents present. I look forward to attending NYBLS again this next fall, barring any COVID related issues.
