The Alliance Bulldogs went 1-1 last week after winning a game Tuesday against the Chadron Cardinals and losing Friday to the Scottsbluff Bearcats.
In the game against Chadron, the boys kept their defense strong throughout the game while showing a strong offense, resulting in a 71-44 victory over the Cardinals.
On Friday, Alliance took on Scottsbluff, where the Bearcats barely edged out the Bulldogs for a 45-43 victory over the Bulldogs. The boys are 15-5 as they prepare to take on Rapid City Christian on Thursday.
The Alliance girls basketball team fell in three games last week. On Tuesday, the Chadron Cardinals held back the Bulldogs, claiming a 47-22 victory. On Friday, Scottsbluff defeated Alliance with a final score of 75-25. On Saturday, Sterling, Colorado claimed a narrow victory over Alliance with a final score of 44-34.
On Tuesday, the Bulldogs took on the Sidney Red Raiders. The final score was not available as of press time. The girls are 1-20 this season as they prepare for subdistricts.
