While gazing into our vast Nebraska sky, do you try to locate stars, planets and constellations? Are you fascinated by the thought of extra-terrestrial life? Then our “Beyond Our World” Astronomy Clubs might be the perfect fit for you. The Astronomy Clubs will have three meetings a year, along with two special field trips to a planetarium and an observatory. These field trips will be planned by the girl members and will have a field trip cost, determined when planning. Girls will explore space science through crafts, activities, guest speakers and more! Club location sites include Chadron, North Platte, Lincoln and Omaha. Meetings begin each year in October and run through April.
The activities help girls learn about space, space travel, galaxies, constellations and astronomical events you can view from your very own backyard! You will be a part of a community of girls who love space and stars and want to learn more together.

Club is open to registered Girl Scouts in Grade 4-12 and register adult members
