Central Community College softball is pleased to announce the signing of Payten Gibson, a senior at Alliance High School.
A pitcher and utility player for the Bulldogs, Gibson was named First Team All-Western Conference in 2020 and the team’s offensive player of the year. She also earned the Varsity MVP Award and the Blue Collar Award for softball.
“Payten is a great addition to our program,” said CCC head coach Caitlin Simon. “She is someone who can give us time both in the circle and as a utility player.”
Gibson also played basketball and tennis at AHS and won the Miss Hustle Award for basketball.
“I look forward to continuing to play softball and creating new experiences,” said Gibson. “I am excited to learn more about the game and become a better player and overall better person.”
Gibson will be an academic transfer major at CCC. She is the daughter of Justin and Candice Gibson of Alliance.
