Calvary Assembly of God traveled to Omaha to compete for the state Junior Bible Quizzing on Saturday, April 10 at Good News Church.
The quizzers in attendance were TJ Arends, Caoimhe Howard, Meena Howard, Saoirse Howard, and Hali Miller. Quizzers not in attendance but made as many practices as possible were Carson Bunnell and Kennedy Mahoney.
The team was led by coach and assistant coach, Jennifer Howard and Brook Settle. This is a new, first year team that faced many challenges with being able to meet in person this season; however, that did not stop them from bringing home a third place trophy. The kids would like to thank the community who supported their Little Caesars fundraiser last fall, enabling them to travel completely on those funds.
JBQ will start back up in August and is open to children grades 1-6.
