May is National Pet Month, so we have decided to have some fun and engaging contests for our patrons. We have built a display in the library of the some of the pets owned by the library staff. Some of the staff have multiple pets, while others have none. The trick is to match all the pets with the correct staff member! All correct entries will be put into a drawing to be held on June 1!
We will also have a Favorite Patron Pet contest in which our patrons will be asked to submit a picture of their pets by May 25 to the Library’s Facebook page. We will share those pictures on our Facebook page beginning May 26, with the pet receiving the most “Likes” winning. The winner will be announced June 1.
Both contests will come with a $50 Chamber Buck prize sponsored by the Alliance Public Library Foundation to use with our local businesses so you can find something special for your favorite pet. Have fun with this one!
