Panhandle Senior Women’s Golf Competes in Morrill

The Panhandle Senior Women’s Golf Association held its second outing of 2021 on May 24th at the Rolling Green Golf Course in Morrill. Forty one women enjoyed the spring weather and had a great time.

It was a very competitive outing. Taking first place with a score of 73/59.63 net and three birdies was Gina Briggs, Terry Grosz, Jane Holecheck and Kay Heggem. Second place with a score of 74/61.71 net and one birdie was Judy Paradeis, Michelle Prusia and Wendy Kostman. Taking third place with a score of 74/61.72 net and two birdies was Sandy Huckfeldt, Suzy Ernest and Tami Pierce. The fourth place team of Terri Luttrell, Grace Brisby, Kris DeVries and Audrey Nelson shot a score of 79/64.85.

Flag prizes were awarded as follows: Longest Drive “A” Player – Gina Briggs, Longest Drive “B” Player – Karen Johnson, Longest Drive “C” Player – Tami Pierce, Longest Drive “D” Player – Norma Perkins. Sandy Huckfeldt and Wendy Kostman won Longest Putts flags. Sue Williams and Audrey Nelson won Closest Tee Shot flags. Bonnie Childs and Claudia Benda won Closest to the Pin from Off the Green flags.
