I was watching public television yesterday and it was very interesting. They talked about the rivers that went across the state of Nebraska, their origin, all the wildlife, the irrigation, and the drinking water resources. They kept repeating throughout the program, “If you want to follow the power sourace follow the trail of money, if you want to follow life follow the water.”
That was said in secular settings but I think it had a spiritual word in their also. In our Baptism, God uses water and the Word to give us new life. Our sins have been washed away and new life has come upon us. We don’t see this new life yet but it is there. We don’t see the electricity and heat in our homes but we know they are there. Someday we will experience this new life to the full and we will be so amazed that we won’t say a single word. God wants to give you new life all because He loves you.
