Senior Women’s Golf Travels to Kimball

The Panhandle Senior Women’s Golf Association hit the links at Four Winds Golf Course in Kimball on Sept. 13. Thirty nine ladies endured the cool, windy morning to complete the event.

Taking first place, with a score of 76 gross/62.78 net and two birdies, was Gail Magers, Londa Maron, Kris DeVries and Sylvia Debus. In second place, the team of Phyllis Greenwood, Sue Williams, Lisa Racine and Joy Eberhardt carded a score of 77 gross/63.14 net and two birdies. The third place team consisted of Terry Espinoza, Carole Lain, Tami Pierce and Phyllis Gross. They recorded a birdie and a hole out, along with their score of 77 gross/63.51 net. Jane Faber, Sharon Nuss and Jolene McGinnis came in fourth place with a score of 76 gross/64.11 net and one birdie.

Flag prizes were awarded as follows: Longest Drive “A” Player – Judy Paradeis, Longest Drive “B” Player – Suzy Ernest, Longest Drive “C” Player – Tami Pierce and Longest Drive “D” Player – Joy Eberhardt. Gina Briggs and Patty Schaneman snagged the longest putt flags. Jane Faber and Grace Brisby won closest to the pin from off the green flags. Terry Espinoza was closest in 2 on Hole #2, and Franny Haukup was closest in 3 on Hole #11. Closest Tee Shot for “A” Player was Gail Magers, “B” Player was Terry Grosz, “C” Player was Sally Plover and “D” Player was Pam Adams.
