I just want to express my thanks to a lady who was shopping at Grocery Kart yesterday. (Sept. 2) I was shopping at Grocery Kart and as I entered the check-out counter I discovered I had my purse with me but no wallet in it! I asked the clerk if he could put my frozen things back in the freezer so I could go home and get my wallet. The lady ahead of me noticed my dilemma and paid for my groceries. I asked the clerk if he knew who she was and he said “no he didn’t.” It was a humbling experience as I could have paid for my own groceries had I not forgotten my wallet.
I have only lived in Alliance for a year and I am proud to live in a community where people take care of their people and I hope I can do the same for someone else someday. Thank you again so much, I really appreciate your care and concern.
