We have had a very rewarding week on the FFA side of things.
We competed in our January contest on Wednesday of last week, our Livestock Management Team was District Champions and qualified for state also winning Swine, Dairy Cattle, and Beef which are three out of the six species that were provided.
The Livestock Management Team consisted of five members including myself. Our Floriculture team placed fifth and also qualified for state; this team consisted of six members. We had four members compete in welding and should have results later this week.
We are now preparing for our second round of CDE’s. This will be held in person in Gordon on Feb. 3, and the last CDE will be held on March 3 in Kimball.
