The Alliance Boys Golf team went to Gering on April 4, where they placed seventh out of eight other teams in Division one, shooting a team score of 362.
The Bulldogs brought a younger team to this tournament in hopes of getting them some experience.
“We brought a lot of young guys yesterday and they gained valuable experience on another great course in the panhandle,” said Coach Brandt Banzhaf.
Tristen Timbers led the Bulldogs in the Boys Golf tournament in Gering, where he shot an impressive score of 80 and earned a top 10 placement. Timbers placed sixth out of 40 other players in attendance.
“Tristen Timbers continues to improve and paced our team with an 80 and a sixth place finish. I’m extremely proud of the perseverance and grit he has developed over the years,” said Banzhaf.
