The AHS Girls Tennis team split a dual against Gothenburg in Cozad on April 29, where they played in a little indoor court because of weather conditions. Their final score was 3-3.
“Because of the weather we played at a little indoor court in Cozad. Both of our Singles players seem to struggle playing indoors. We rely on our lob game quite a bit and with the low ceiling we were unable to use it like we usually do. Our Doubles teams played well but struggled a little with the lobs also, but were able to rely on their partner to cover the court. A split is not what we had hoped for but we got a few wins on the day and some good experience,” said Coach Mills
