AHS Girl’s Wrestlers Take Second at Sidney; Raymer Gets Gold

With 112 points, the Alliance girl’s wrestlers finish second at the Sidney Invite on Friday. 18 schools took part in the event. Gering won the team race with 178 with the Bulldogs ending second. Gordon/Rushville was third with 103 points while there was a tie for fourth between Bridgeport and Southwest who both tallied 102. Top finisher for Alliance was Aiva Raymer who was first at 140. Raymer won matches against Gering and Gordon/Rushville before winning the gold in a match versus Hemingford. Alliance got silver medal performance from Alexis Solis at 105, Charlize Dorenbach at 170, and Daycin Gibson at 120.
