Per Nebraska State Activities Association guidelines we are now able to hold 50% capacity in our gyms. However, we still want to remain cautious with things to help keep everyone safe and healthy and help ensure that our student athletes continue to get to play, and finish the winter sports season. Therefore we will be enforcing the following guidelines:
In an attempt to accommodate the families of our players, the visiting teams families, and our community, and in order to stay under the 50% capacity mandate, we will be issuing tickets for each participant to use as they wish. These tickets will be distributed to the participants prior to each home contest. We will also have very limited seating available for anyone who does not have a ticket and wishes to attend a home contest, this seating will be on a first come first serve basis.
Masks are still required to be worn by all spectators and workers during a contest and a 6 foot separation between household member groups and other individuals is highly recommended.
If you are given a ticket, this guarantees you a seat in our gym, however you still must pay admission prices, unless you have an activity card. Admission for AHS home events are $5 for adults and $4 for students.
We will continue to Striv all home varsity contests on our Striv Channel.
The guidelines went into effect on Tuesday.
