Alliance along with Gothenburg, Broken Bow, Minden, Holdrege, Doniphan-Trumbull, St. Paul, and Colby, Kansas all took to the mat Saturday, competing in the Gothenburg Dual meet. The Bulldogs ended the day with a 3 and 2 record. AHS battled Broken Bow, Doniphan-Trumbull, Holdrege, Minden, and the hosts Swedes. Ten Dogs participated with 3 going undefeated.
At 126, Jett Childers finished 5 and 0 while brother Coy at 132 also ended 5 and 0. Junior Lucas Weber continued his fine season for Alliance, going 5 and 0 at 215.
