The Alliance Arts Council season of performing arts events will begin on November 14th with an evening of BLUEGRASSS! High Plains Tradition is the longest running bluegrass band in Colorado. They play mostly traditional bluegrass music but also have been known to throw in Country, Swing and a Gershwin tune or two.
In January, visual artist/musician Wendy Bantam from Lincoln will spend 5 days with elementary students and also have a performance for the public to enjoy.
In 2026 the AAC will sponsor a visual exhibit at Carnegie Arts center by the Des Moines based artist Leo Bird and performances by the Irish & British folk art trio Paddywhack and the very unique hybrid arts group The Fourth Wall.
Season tickets for these events are $50 Adults, $40 Senior and $20 for Students. Season ticket holders will also be invited to a private reception with special food and live entertainment. All events are open to the public and tickets are available at the door. Co-presenters for the season are Western Nebraska Real Estate, KCOW/Double Q Country Radio, FNBO, FNIC and Harris Sales.
