On Saturday, June 12 the Alliance Aviators ventured to Sterling, Colorado for an end of the season tourney. The 12U squad took home first place by ending the 2 day competition with a five and zero record. Alliance won 2 games on Saturday and finish the weekend with 3 W on Sunday.
Revenge was on the minds of the Alliance squad in their first game on Saturday. The Aviators faced the Renegades, a team who had bested them earlier in the season. Alliance was up for the challenge and downed their rivals 9 to 4. In game 2, the Aviators took down the Hitmen of Northeastern 12 to 4 to end their day.
Three games were then on the plate for Sunday. Alliance opened the day with a 20 to 0 victory over Fort Morgan. The Aviators then had their closest contest in game 4. Alliance edged the River Rats 10 to 9 to set up another matchup with the Renegades. With a 12 to 4 win, the Aviators were crowned champions!
